Getting started
I work best with women who:
- Are ready and willing to move forward. This does not mean being completely over all crying jags and expected blah days; it means being ready to begin again.
- Have a sense of humor. This is very helpful, especially during trying times.
- Are willing to cry when they feel the need. Your tears are normal and expected. Being a sensitive gal, I will likely cry with you at times.
- Remain mindful that grieving is part of the process. I will remind you to be kind and gentle with yourself.
- Will help their children through the process (if children are involved). Children of divorce love their other parent even if you can’t currently remember one lovable quality.
- Treat me with respect and expect the same from me.
- Will be honest with me. It is very important that your home reflects your taste, not mine. I will happily make suggestions, but I want the decisions to be yours.
- Can afford my services. I do not want my fees to add stress. However, most of my clients tell me that I actually save them money. (Examples can be found on the testimonials page.)
- Refer me if they believe my services were of value.
